  2. Melt the butter in a small saucepan over medium heat and cook for 3 to 4 minutes until nutty and amber; cool for 5 minutes.
  3. Whisk the brown butter, brown sugar, sweet potato, egg, and vanilla until smooth.
  4. Fold in the flour, baking powder, cinnamon, pecans, and flaky salt just until combined.
  5. Spread the batter in the pan and bake for 25 to 30 minutes until the center is set and the top is glossy.
  6. Cool completely in the pan, lift out by the parchment, cut into nine squares, and serve.
