Adapted from Swanson's three-ingredient buffalo chicken dip, rebuilt as a quick skillet with a crunchy cracker finish and fresh celery.

Story

I found [Swanson](https://www.campbells.com/swanson/recipes/3-ingredient-buffalo-chicken-dip/)'s three-ingredient dip when I needed something easy for a Friday night. I turned it into a bubbly skillet, added celery for crunch, and finished it with crushed Ritz Crackers so every scoop has a little crisp edge. My kindergartner sticks to the chicken and crackers, while y'all can add extra hot sauce at the table.

Ingredients

Instructions

  1. Warm a 10-inch oven-safe skillet over medium heat. Add the cream cheese and hot sauce, stirring until smooth and glossy, about 2 minutes.
  2. Fold in the Swanson chicken, garlic powder, half of the celery, and half of the scallions. Cook for 4 minutes, stirring once or twice, until hot.
  3. Sprinkle the Monterey Jack evenly over the top. Reduce the heat to low and cover for 2 minutes, until the cheese melts.
  4. Remove the lid and scatter the crushed Ritz Crackers over the cheese. Broil for 1 to 2 minutes, watching closely, until the crumbs turn golden.
  5. Let the skillet rest for 2 minutes so the dip thickens slightly. Top with the remaining celery, scallions, and parsley.
  6. Serve hot with celery, carrots, and pita wedges. Keep a small spoon nearby for the last creamy scoop.
